Set Sidekick Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Set Sidekick ("the App"), provided by Zak Ward ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Set Sidekick is an iPad and iOS application engineered for gigging musicians to manage song databases, ChordPro charts, setlists, auto-scrolling lyrics, and stage workflows.

3. Subscriptions, Pricing & Billing

Subscription Name: Set Sidekick Annual Subscription
Price & Duration: $8.99 per year (auto-renewable annually).
Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID Account at confirmation of purchase.
Automatic Renewal: Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Renewal Charging: Your Apple ID Account will be charged $8.99 for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing & Canceling Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime by going to your Apple ID Account Settings on your iPad or iPhone after purchase.

4. User Data & Song Libraries

Set Sidekick operates as a local-first application. You retain 100% ownership of all song files, ChordPro charts, audio backing tracks, and setlists created or imported into the App. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your local files.

5. Intellectual Property & Third-Party Content

Set Sidekick does not claim ownership over user-submitted chord sheets or imported third-party material (e.g., charts shared from web platforms like Ultimate Guitar). Users are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to use imported musical charts.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any lost gig data, hardware issues, or live performance disruptions.
